Resort or Ski Area:
Mt. Snow

Conditions:
Packed Powder

Trip Report:
The snow that fell last week really helped condition this weekend. I found most trails to be in good shape. The snow was firm packed powder. We didn't find too many scratchy spots either; even at the end of the day. I was a bit surprised with the crowds after lunch. Being Super Bowl Sunday, I thought the place would empty out by 1, but that wasn't the case. Still, lines weren't bad at all.

Sunbrook was fun in the morning and mostly uncrowded. Late AM though, the lift was stopping a lot, so we hit Carinthia and the North Face. We did Olympic on the North Face and after 75 feet, I could tell my wife was no fan of the bumps. She was a trooper and did the entire trail.

We spent the rest of the day just lapping around the Mountain. One More Time was blast with the new snow; especially if it wasn't crowded. The Summit Local had no line, despite the Grand Summit and Canyon high speeds being rather busy.

IMHO, some of the best conditions of the season. The snow was really nice. And the warmer than last week temps helped as well.

The traverse at the base of Milky Way. My poor wife was practically being blown backwards when the wind picked up:

Looks like it was a nice day on the hill!

And I've seen the "bump trail death stare" more times than I can recall from my wife over the years  ;)

Very Nice

I was there yesterday! Was surprised how great conditions still were. Whole mountain skiing great including woods. Didn't take many pics but here's a couple of Bear Trap I took. The bumps were better on Olympic, Challenger, Chute, and Jaws however................................even Hop had some fun bumpage in places. Great day at Mt. Snow!
