I have not posted a trip report in over two sesons! When pulled into Carinthia it was a ghost town. Only 20 cars or so and the Nitro quad was not spinning. Got a little nervous. The double was running so took that to to get to the main mountain. The summit lifts and the Canyon quads were not spinning when I arrived. I was told they were earlier but were icing and then they shut them down. When that happened I heard many people left. The summit access was back on around 12:30. No Rain! No crowds! . Snow was very slick and hardpack. North Face was opened. I did Fallen Timbers and Olympic as they were flat and slick. I hit some bumps over in the canyon area and they were like mounds of ice. By 3:30pm it was very windy at the summit. It started to rain/sleet as we left at 4:30pm.
I am glad I went today.
