Date Skied: 04/12/08 11:45 am to 4:00pm
Resort: Mount Snow
Conditions: Spring Snow, sun, some clouds
Trip Report:
Saturday was an excellent day. I arrived at 11:30 and it was sun /mixed clouds. Driving up was a different story. It looked like it was going to be a “wash” out day when driving past Mt Tom. By the time I was near Greenfield, the weather cleared. The temp when I arrived was 60.
I headed over to North Face first. I skied Olympic, Chute, Fallen Timbers, Plummet and Jaws. Around 3:00pm they roped of Jaws.
This was my first time skiing Ripcord for the season. A few bumps on the upper section and the rest was just steep.
Today the rock skis came out. Skiing on Unlce’s I found the most remnants from this past winter’s winds (limbs, bark, pine needles) being uncovered.
Main mountain had plenty of coverage, with a few bare spots.
It was a great day for me to wrap up the 07/08 season.
Here are some pix I took:
