I missed so much of last season due to my knee injury that I really am not picky at this point. I went through a lot of crap this year and just plain skiing would make me happy right now; doesn't have to be special, doesn't have to be lift-served, just needs to get me out there so I can have some positive associations again.

fair enough

Live cam shows a nice heavy frost up there this AM.

I hoping that Luke will have some more snowmaking porn shots up shortly! I can practically hear the hum of the fan guns through my monitor right now :)

It might not be lift-served, but it's definitely TR-worthy!! Come on people! Get out there and be the first to post a ski area TR for the 2008/2009 season! And be sure to include pictures.

I'm sorry :( If it wasn't for the Patriots game tonight I'd be there literally right now with the digi cam charged and ready.

I know skiing this time of year should take priority, BUT the guy in the group I goto Patriots games with whose cooking tonight has his own propane burning industrial deep fryer (think McDonald's french fry deep fryer - NOT the Home Depot bought turkey fryer type). In years past, the 1 tailgate a year he typically cooks goes down in our tailgating annals as legendary, so it's not a game to miss (even if the Pats team that showed up against by the Dolphins and the Chargers plays tonight )

Apology/excuse NOT accepted! The game isn't until 5:30 PM....Make a few runs this morning. You'll be a hero at your party!

The summit cam is still showing an image from the summer...everything looks lush and green. :p

I know, I know. Bad timing again. My business partner is currently in San Antonio for a dental convention, so someone (me) has to man the fort today. Like I said, usually, it would be a no brainer, but the circumstances around today just made the quick 290 mile round trip road trip that it would be for me impossible. Because I have, and will have many a day where I start my day with a few turns at Mount Snow and then end up at Gillette Stadium for some tailgating + football. :daffy:

Plus, today, the games @ 8:30, not 5:30, but I'm still leaving my office @ 2 (even though Gillette is less than an hour away), because tailgating is a SERIOUS event with the crew of 8 to 10 of us that go! :)

Oops! My bad. I seem to remember a post of yours from a deck of a house at Mount Snow. I thought maybe you lived there, but I guess it's a second home for you.

145 miles to hike up a swath of white snow....That's an excuse I can live with....

Yup, that pic was from the deck of my ski house, and I haven't quite reached the time of year when I'm a 3 day a week resident of VT and a 4 day a week resident of CT yet ;)

The jones factor right now is high enough that if I didn't have the work thing this AM, independent of the Patriots game tonight, the round trip drive for a hike for 30 verts of glorified frozen grass topdressed with a little fan gun pow pow would likely be happening though :)

Jeff is well thought of at Mount Snow. He's working on getting me a premium parking spot! You go Jeff!

V brings beer to my place for a BBQ, I make sure V gets mentioned for primo parking places ;) Especially since you're going to be more Moover dependent this year than ever! ;)

Will you be wanting the one infront of or next to the Little Dipper Building?? I'll give you first pick :)
