Second Annual Event Evolves into Weekend Festival with On-Site Camping
Gov’t Mule, Michael Franti & Spearhead, MMW Among 20 Bands to Play Event
March 9th, 2006 – Woodstock, NY – Radio Woodstock, founder of the Mountain Jam Music Festival (www.mountainjamfest.com), has joined forces with world renowned guitarist Warren Haynes (Allman Bros. & Gov’t Mule) to co-produce this year’s Mountain Jam Music Festival. Mountain Jam is an annual weekend long rock ‘n roll music festival, complete with onsite camping on June 3rd & 4th at beautiful Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY.
"Radio Woodstock has been a huge supporter of our music, and we are really excited to partner with them to create many more Mountain Jams," says Warren Haynes. "We envision bringing our musician friends together every summer in upstate New York. We have some great surprises lined up and there will be some amazing jams on the Mountain. We had a great time with the fans last year, and look forward to seeing them out there again this year."
Line up includes; Gov’t Mule - Playing Both Nights!!!, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Keller Williams, The Wood Brothers, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, DJ Logic and many more to be announced soon.

$115/2 Day Pass with On-site Camping - Limited to 2000 People
$90/2 Day Pass
1 Day Pass Available in April
Tickets are available for purchase via MountainJamFest.com beginning on Monday March 13th at 10 am. On-site camping passes are limited to the first 2000 people. There are other camping facilities and plenty of hotels located nearby. Radio Woodstock/WDST will be broadcasting live reports from the festival site, and listeners can catch the broadcast on air in the Hudson Valley at 100.1 WDST, online at WDST.com or online at RadioWoodstock.com.
“Last year’s event was a huge success, the music, the setting, it was spectacular, we couldn’t have had a better day,” Gary Chetkof, President and General Manager of Radio Woodstock explains, “Our newly forged partnership with Warren Haynes and the expansion of the festival to a weekend event elevates the project to a whole new level and we look forward to the great possibilities this partnership will bring to Mountain Jam for many years.”
