Date(s) Skied: 2/14/08
Resort or Ski Area: Mad River Glen
Conditions: Powder / Packed Powder
Weather: Sunny and in the 20's
Trip Report: Took advantage of their $14 Valentine days special. Got to the mountain around 10 and got right on to the single. There were no lines all day on the single or the double. At the top of the mountain every thing was powder. No sign of rain, freezing rain or sleet and no ice any where in sight. Took Antelope all the way down. Condition were great. The lower half of the mountain had a slight crust from some sleet but it did not effect conditions at all. Took some runs off the double and again everything was great. After lunch headed back up the single in search of Paradise. Never skied it before so had to give it a try. First attempt I ended up on Fall Line. Was not disappointed. Nothing but powder moguls everywhere. Back up the single and found Paradise. Except for the entrance at the top the run was great. In talking to some locals on the way down they claim that Paradise rarely gets this good.
Best run of the day: Fall Line followed by Paradise then Antelope.
