Date(s) Hiked: 6-6-2007
Trails(s) Hiked: Old Adams Road, Cheshire Harbor, Road walk & AT
Total Distance: approx. 6.4 miles RT
Difficulty: The lighter side of Moderate, a lot opf old road & closed road walking, climbs a little over 1900 feet.
Conditions: Some water on the trail, mostly on Cheshire Harbor but not bad, a cold day for June, with windchill I would guess in upper 30's
Special Required Equipment:an extra layer & if you were spending time up top, maybe some glove liners.
Trip Report: It's been almost six years since my last trip, I was curious if the trailhead had been impacted at all due to proposed development. It's still the same but looking down from the summit road, it looks like they have begun some digging a couple of miles north & east, closer to Ragged Mt. (it could be a sand & gravel place too)
Still my preferred choice of trails going up.
