Location - Mt. Pisgah, Westmore, VT (Pulpit Rock)
Distance - 1.5 miles (each way from campground)
Elevation Gain - 800 feet
Difficulty - Overall Easy/Moderate in a couple of short places
Trip Report - short hike with the camping families to a nice overlook. The South Trail at Mt. Pisgah was a short road walk from our campground, and a nice walk in the woods to a rock cliff with a tremendous view of Lake Willoughby. Rain was threatening, the kids and Moms did not want to go to the summit, and we had to pack up to get out of there before the deluge, so only did Pulpit Rock this time. Quite a few other hikers on this trail, also.
The view of the lake from the beach at the north end of Willoughby was almost worth the drive by itself.....
