Sorry for the blantant copy and pasting of a link, but I figure you guys might be interested in this.

Anyway, awesome day. Kind of a torture hike back down the cog since there wasn't enough snow to ski anything but the gullies, but it was still worth it seeing what the other current options are. Big props for Drew for dragging my ass up to Washington on Saturday, because I honestly had no hope that anything would be skiable, nevermind covered in powder!

Anway, hope you enjoy the pic!

...and PS: GPetrics and crew went up on Sunday, and had a camera that was just a tid bit better than Drew and I's iphones. I think you guys will know where to find those pics...

Everyone's crying the shittiest start to an Eastern ski season in memory with most places still skiing WROD. Looks like the skiing atop Washington was nothing short of amazing.

Nicely done!! Very jealous, can't wait to get out with you guys... let's avoid Ammo when rock-solid this year, though...

A bit of a suffer fest getting up and down, but definitely worth it.

Isn't that the very definition of backcountry skiing? Still a relief to see some bc turns in the whites finally.

East snowfields were pretty close to amazing although a little short.

Airplane on the other hand... Some turns were amazing, some were, uhhh, a little dicey. One turn would be in a 1-2 feet then the next would be on a dusty covering super firm windpack. When you took a jump turn you honestly had no idea which of the two you would land on. :spin:

Well suffering up hill yes, but you shouldn't have to suffer when going down!
