New England Summer Nationals

A great mostly sunny day for a car show. The rain even held out long enough for my pasty white skin to turn a nice shade of red. It seemed like there was a pretty good turnout today for a Friday compared to previous years which is a nice surprise considering the bad weather we've had and the uncertainty of whether or not the show would even be back at Greenhill Park this year. I am so glad the promoters and the city worked out their differences and got the show on.

Here's some of the highlights taken on my brand new camera.

They had the burnouts going. (no, not GSS)

I use to have a 65 Comet this color in high school, I still kick myself for selling it even if it was for a brand new 88 Mustang.

GTO's are my weakness, I love the scoops on the 71-72s.

and a 71 Judge!

I love this Fairlane, 390 with Edelbrock aluminum heads.

Like all car shows there was an abundance of Camaro's and Chevelle's.

Lots of old hot rods too.
I love the mural on this one.

It also had flame cut out.

Anyone know what kind of car this is?

Did I mention I love GTO's? This one was a 64 or 65 and was all stock, it even had the original sticker on the back seat.

And a 66 or 67. I would have gone with a Tri Power but the owner went with Dual Quads. Oh Well, It's his car.
