I has one. Starting 10/20, job is in Greenwich, CT. Got a place in Stamford, keeping the place in Boston as well. Not sure where skiing will be based from, though. May have to (darn it all) get a 2nd ski set up to keep in CT, so I always have my gear ready to go wherever.

Congrats

were you looking or did a good opportunity just present itself?

Passively looking, and this came about after having diner with some people from the firm about 6 months ago. Guess I said something right, and managed not to spill my soup or something.

Congrats.

I don't think he actually does exist, but if he does he has no excuse not to ski at Sundown with us now....

Congrats on the new Job C10, hopefully you don't regret moving to CT... ;)

...I've never been to Sundown, but have spent a fair amount of time in CT. My guess is that Sundown is the only redeeming quality the state might have

1.5 hours away, it's certainly possible to ski at Sundown. Assuming I ever leave work before 10 pm

Ah yes, Stamford, the town that works.

Enjoy, it's a sweet area... 2h30m to Hunter

1h30m to Sundown... and alot more than that if you're planning on hitting it during rush hour...

One of few at least. Another big redeeming quality is, of course, that I live here.

Fantastic MTB options too. And some decent hiking in the Litchfield hills. I actually enjoy the area that I live in.
