for my fellow southwestern Connecticutians, there is a new REI store opening next month (Oct) in Norwalk CT, just off off exit 14 on I-95.

Nice. What a great company. That will certainly be closer for me than the one out in jersey they opened last year. Since they closed the one in New Rochelle about 10+ years ago, I have sorely missed an REI store. I went to one of the ones in SLC 2 winters ago and it was like going to heaven...that place was practically the size of a Costco!
