Winthrop, Maine. Finally!!
Hey all I am currently living in Dallas TX (blah!) But the good news is that by christmas I'll be moving back to maine. Anyway, I bought a pair of atomic 9.18's in 1999 and have beat them up pretty good, besides that, they are 190's and wicked skinny in the waist. I'd like to get something shorter in a midfat for this winter. I have looked at the volkl AC 40 which looks like an awsome ski! Any other suggestions? I only weigh 140lbs but have a lot of skiing experience and am pretty aggressive. So I need a ski that isn't too overpowering but can handle itself in the bumps/trees ect. Any suggestions would be appreciated

How can you be a skibum in Alta if you live in Texas...I'd say a pair of Vollkill Karmas or K2 Public Enemys would suit your needs for a midfat..

Yeah it is strange I know, I grew up in maine, spent a season working and living in alta and now I am a chiropractic student in dallas. That is the short version of course. My brother skis the karma and is in love with them but I am concerned that they may be a bit to much of a jibbing ski for me, with the twin tip and all, but I guess lots of skis are twin tip now. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look at the k2's

The K2 is basically the same thing as the Karma.

2 seasons for me on a twin tip(although a very stiff twin) and I barely jib or park. I jus like the way that they ski.
