So I went to LL Bean today and broke down to get some new Spenco Footbeds fpr my boots:

They were $30 a pair and much more supportive and cushier than the ones in EMS. And the salesperson was not as nutty. So I got home, stuck them in my boots, and took a stroll....MUCH better and MORE supportive. Nice rebound when you step. I've been having some minor foot problems in the last couple years--some small blisters in the ball of my foot and cracking heels. I think that this will help...

Here is a website that lists a test recently done to them, and HERE are his final reviews, which were excellent.

Any one have any experience with these footbeds?

I also got some sockliners because of recent blistering on the back of my foot (above the heel). Hoping that will help...

I put a pair in at the beginnig of thew summer, Nice. Itried silk sock liners under wool soks found them very slippery and actualy caused blisters rather than avoid them.

I've tried Superfeet, Shock Doctors, and now I'm using Soles.
I wasn't 100% satisfied with either of those, but the Soles were the best so far.

But... I had plantar fasciitis and am currently trying to fix some other foot problems. I might just get some orthodics. I wish EMS carried the Spencos so I could try them out.

A note on support and what is supportive:
It's not just about the insole, it's about the volume of your feet and how they fill out the shoe/boot you wear. Your feet can fit fine inside a particular insole but still have plenty of moving room above - that's not good either. If you have room to play, instead of adding more socks to fill out the space, try getting a thin volume-adjustment-shim for your boot that goes under your insole. EMS should have some and I'm sure they'd give you one for free. Some boots come with them, like Garmont.

Reason I say this is because an insole that is thicker than your original or previous insole will feel more supportive since it will hold your foot inside the shoe better by decreasing volume.
