That time of year again

Mine:

The usual stuff, ski more, bike more, etc

The more serious one for me though is to loose about another 15 pounds by the 2nd weekend in May (that will get me to 50lbs lost in a year, and that finish date also coincides with the Tough Mudder Event at Mount Snow that I'm entered in and WILL finish!)

Good luck! Way to go with the weight loss. That looks like one kick a$$ event! I did they Rugged Maniac in Southwick, MA this year. Not quite as rugged as I thought it was going to be but that Tough Mudder event at Snow looks grueling!!

I was going to do Rugged Maniac this past fall, but I was out of town that weekend :( The part of Mount Snow's tough mudder course that has me the most concerned, isn't the dip into the likely just a couple of weeks before ice-out mid mountain snowmaking ponds, but the 3rd and final real climb. Up the lower Nitro headwall about 5.5-6 miles into the course. That sucker is steep, a couple of hundred yards long, and it's going to be muddy  All I know is the free beer at the post race party is going to taste mighty good (even if it's the cheapest swill out there! )

Nice, I lost about 25lbs this year and have put about 5 back on with the holiday season. Would like to lose another 15-20 this year.

My resolutions.

1) Get back to 200lbs or less, currently hovering somewhere between 210-215 after the holidays. This starts 1/3/11.

2) Cut back on beer/wine consumption, this should help with #1 and also starts 1/3/11(end of pats regular season)

3) Spend even more time with the kids.

4) Stop biting my fingernails!!!

You might want to push #2 back until 2/7/2011 (the day AFTER the Superbowl! :) ) - Go Pats!
