You would think long term Tamarack would be viable. 2800 vert, 300" annual snowfall, sits next a big lake and only 2 hours from Boise.

Revelstoke in BC opened in 2007

there was a double chair lower on the mountain before that, but Revelstoke Mountain Resort didn't begin construction until 2005.

I haven't been there, I have friends who have though.

Bearpen in the western Catskills could had Been 2000+ vertical with more snow then Platty 175 inches a year would had been reopened it wasn't for those horrible 9/11/01

Visiting a resort opened in 2003 this March. Myrkdalen. Not in the US though.
