I'd also recommend Four Seasons Ski on Rt 22 in Green Brook.

Four Seasons is closed, and I believe it is permanent this time. I'll be getting more info next week on that, but it is extremely unlikely that they will be reopening this year, and probably not ever. Was a nice shop for a long time though. But, the owner got murdered a few years ago, and it's gone through a few ownership changes since. Although, I'd heard it did a very good business during the season last year, but i don't know what happened over the summer.

There's also Colorado Ski in New Providence, I've never been there and it looks like a really small place.

Been going there for a long time. Very nice staff and a nice place, and good prices. They didn't charge me extra to get bindings mounted that weren't bought through them. (Another place I'd asked was going to charge me $40 over the normal mounting price, since I didn't buy from them). Never had a tune done, so I can't vouch for that.

They have very cheap season rentals as well (I think $99 or $129 for the year), that were pretty good when I used them two years ago.

That sucks about Four Seasons. I would have thought they were doing pretty well after the moved into the new store.

Yeah. I'm not entirely sure what happened. I know for a fact they turned a large profit last season....but I have my doubts the summer business they were trying to do went that well. Also, it's possible they might have lost their lease (I doubt it.). I'm trying to find out.
