Ski area: Okemo Mt.

Conditions: packed powder and powder.

Weather: light snow during the morning, tapering off around noon. Temps: 10F at the base (0830am)

Got to the mountain at about 0805 and hit the chairlift around 0830. A bit more people today as yesterdays cold spell kept crowds to a weekday feel Saturday.

Made my way over to Countdown as I wanted to get to the southface quad to avoid the crowds. Trail was not bad early morning as people seem to be sticking to trails around the Northstar quad. Stayed over on southface for about 90minutes hitting Rimrock, Off the Rim, and Wildthing. Conditions were not bad for a light powder day. Only complaint here was the operation of the lift line. The person controlling the queue just didnt have a clue on how to do this efficiently and fairly. Short lift line here during early morning hours.

Just before lunch made my way over to the glades peak quad to try Upper Fall Line. Not bad despite some snow being pushed to the side. Reminder of the day after lunch was spent around the Green Ridge triple to try out the terrain parks. Lift lines here were non existent. Not a bad day overall.
