Resort: Okemo
Conditions: Packed Powder

I got up to Okemo for my first time in a year. I must say that new expansion at Jackson Gore is awesome. It puts some challenging trails in unlike the Okemo side. The conditions were great all day. My trail of the day was Quantum Leap. Great snow on it and nice pitch.

Trails hit: Arrow, Rimrock, Countdown, Lower Fall Line, Off the Rim, Dream Weaver, Upper Mountain Road, Lower Limelight, FastTrack, Quantum Leap, Sunset Strip, Screamin' Demon, Jolly Green Giant, Sapphire, World Cup, Chief, Challenger, Searle's Way, and WarDance.

Glad you had a good day, and good to see you on the board! Here, I think you'll get much better responses to your trip reports.

No, the best part is the Galaxy Bowl Snow Stars area! LOL, anyway, where is the gondola gonna go? Is it gonna go from the base to the top or from the bottom of the Jackson Gore Express to the top? Also, I think they should consider replacing the Okemo high speed quad (Northstar) with a gondola too. Maybe an 8 person to get rid of the line it seems to always have.

the gondi is going to run from the base of JG. to the okeamo summit. if you look on a trail map, you can see the lift line.

OMG, never noticed that. Will it go both ways, so you can go from Okemo to Jackson Gore Base? EDIT: Isn't the Solitude Express Quad in the way?

the gondi will most likly run above/over the quad, kinda like attash, except the sleeve trains wont be on the same tower.
