no one that we know of. the races between the high schools in our area is VERY competitive. and not to blow my own horn but we are one of the better teams.
that's a horrible sign of sportsmanship, no matter how competitive the area is.

hope you catch the little bastard

Is this high school racing up at Berkshire East? I raced up there in high school in the early/mid 90's. I don't remember it getting like that. Certainly a little worse than your average "prank".

My guess would be that it's a school who your school COMPLETELY demolished in some other sport during the fall/winter

Is there a less fortunate female member of the team? It would appear that the message is directed at them. They should probably sleep on their back with one eye open for a while. It would appear that someone has particular interest in their nether region.

Seriously, that's pretty screwed up. I hope things get resolved, or it at least stops.

BTW, I know you were worked up, but please try to refrain from dropping f-bombs here. It's kinda frowned upon, only Greg can do it once a year or so... ;)

I took the liberty of creatively editing it out..

If you were my kid's ski coach I would not be impressed. What makes me think your actions could have something to do with this.

Any good coach would use this as a learning "real life" experience. You go on skiing forum and threaten retaliation? Beautiful. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Well, for one, he's not the coach. Second, it's venting, not a threat. There's a difference. I could understand being fairly upset if crap like that happened to me.

One of the things I like about skiing is the camaraderie, even between strangers. You can never get away from that stuff though, and high school sports are probably about as bad as it gets. Hopefully cooler heads prevail.

I am not a coach, so I feel comfortable saying that someone needs to 'splain to those worthless pieces of vandalising snot that that sort of behavior is less than acceptable.

My preferred method of instruction, known as a 'splainer:

So you're going to kick some ass? Great. Good luck in prison.

If he's not the coach, why is he apologizing for blowing his own horn. Still not impressed. If I were the coach, I'd ask whoever this guy is to zip it.

Maybe because he's on the team? This website covers a broad age range; from high school students to retirees.

I said someone. I simply offered an option on teaching implements. Spare the rod, and all that.

I'm quite Bibilical, when it suits my mood and purposes.

Besides, considering the terroristic threats left (yes, that note would qualify), one would be justified and well within their legal rights to lay a thumping on the person who did it if they were caught en flagrante. Fear for personal safety, fear for the safety of the team, all that.

Would you prefer that the person who is responsible for the threats and the property damage be allowed to continue acting out in this antisocial manner with no fear of reprisal or consequence? Granted, it would be better to let Officer McTaser handle it, but in the absence of a duly authorized officer of the law, a stout hickory handle can work quite well. Clint Eastwood taught me that.
