Had to chuckle at my father's choice of words this morning. They did a little video spotlight on the moguls at Mt. Ellen (which are undoubtedly the best in the east). The best part is, our moguls are "organic," and naturally grown! Good little segment, though.

Watch video entitled "Mt. Ellen Moguls" from 2/21/10 at http://www.sugarbush.com/snow-trails-conditions/live-mountain-update

P.S. - It's not any sort of cut toward those mountains where mogul seeding is the only viable option. The only fun prodding was directed toward some more local competition that shouldn't need to seed moguls... I'll let you figure out who!

I thought the video was good. Anything promoting mogul skiing is good in my book. But at the end of the day, I just like good bumps. I don't care whether they are seeded or not, as long as the lines are good.

nice vid. do like how he takes a shot at k. speaking of which ... killington in addition to the course on vertigo now has seeded bumps on mts (green), swirl (blue) and mouse trap (black). they range from about 3-6 bumps wide and are not very long. nevertheless the bumps are absolutely perfect and lots of fun. in addition, ol is totally bumped, fiddle, ovation and lower supe have bumps. still probably doesn't compare to what you've got going at the bush but i'm suspecting after this week's snow, business should pick up on k's nat terrain.

You Sugarbush folk are so blessed...the average skier, imo, is so much better in your neck of the woods. If Mt. Snow stuck only to natural bumps, I fear our lines would be as poor as the ones I found at Camelback, PA.
