The Olympic flame was carried briefly into the United States today for the only time on its 106-day journey across Canada in the longest domestic torch relay in Olympic history. The relay will end with the lighting of the Olympic cauldron at the opening ceremonies for the Vancouver Winter Olympics on Friday.
