phpBB 2.2 was supposed to be released in 2004, but it now doesn't look like a final release of a new phpBB application will be available for some time, probably several months (they're not yet in beta). This site has so much dependency on phpBB 2.0.x, it's scary (forums, gallery, news, etc...). I wouldn't expect to see this forum's software upgrade for many months, even after the official release of phpBB 3.0.0. There are some criticial mods I use that will need to be ported by the developers first.
