Great day yesterday...better day today! Came back to NYC last night thinking of heading back...But not sure...Alarm went off...Laid in bed for 30 or so minutes...Decided to head back up. Dunkin Donuts, etc, and 2.5 hours later we were there...And it had snowed! About 2-3 inches. It doesn't sound like much, but it was one of those times that it was just enough.
Skied mostly off the double...Some bike trails...All was good. Nice light [not champagne, but light] powder coated the trails, making them oh so nice.
Saw a kid who knocked him self out in the little terrain park under the lift...No helmet...I mean that's just dumb, but hopefully he's OK.
Great weekend! If you've never been, go. It's a smallish mountain, with about 1000-1100 feet of sustained vert...no runouts. And the woods are nice and open, and there is enough snow to ski in them.
