First time at Plattekill today. Helped out by food snow latwly, conditions were great all over the mountain. Didn't do the outside greens, but hit just about everything else. Worked from skier's left to right Did both lift lines and Blockbuster several times (why are there 3 lifts shown on the trail map?), and most everything in between. Had a great time.
Conditions were packed powder and granular slowly turning to potatoes through the afgernoon. Heavy (like, 3 lift chairs or barely 1 lift pole visibility) fog all aternon, with rain, both intensifying together. Even still, excellent skiing. Most lift chairs were occupied, but no lines at all and little traffic on the slopes.
Only did a half day because the heat in the cabin we rented broke (ice in the toilet is fun) so we didn't get to sleep until late, but we've already asked when the house is free again. We'll be back to Plattekill, for sure.
