Was wondering if any of the illustrious AZ posters had the time/resources/skills to produce a podcast?

The only ones on iTunes leave a lot to be desired. Grand Targhee has one, but it is only dedicated to their area. There is also Powdercast which is Okay, but they don't update much and isn't very entertaining imo...

I could whip one together if there was enough interest. I am starting my podcast (MMPodcast) the first week of January. Using Garage Band from Apple to piece it together.

Garage band is a solid program, but uses tons of resources. Are you a mac user OZ?

Cool, I have a 12" powerbook and recently updated to tiger. If your running tiger here's a little trick I learned at the genius bar (long story but I did something stupid and broke my AC jack): When on safari put your pointer over any word and hit apple, ctrl and d at the same time. Gives an instant definition.

Here's another...
Hold Shift when you minimize or maximize anything to and from the dock and your animation speed will run at 1/3 speed. Pretty trippy. Ha.
