We've had the "posting from the throne" threads...have ever had one of these? Gotta love AirTran and the free Wi-Fi. We are taking the girls down to Florida to visit my Mom for a few days. Also I LOVE Westchester County Airport. We were literally out of my door, checked in, through security and onto the plane with the plane locked and taxiing (sp??) in literally 60 mins.

That's pretty slick. We were down in Orlando two weeks ago. I checked the wifi on the plane via the BlackBerry. $17 for a just under two hour flight seemed a bit steep. Luckily, I had downloaded a few podcasts to pass the time.

My work pays for it.. I go to the west coast a couple times a month... So coming home.. It's a good use of time in an otherwise wasted day..

Ick. $17 for 2 hours? Don't need the internet that badly while flying.

Have fun, marcski!

Thanks, should be fun...beach, take the girls to some butterfly exhibit, strawberry picking, the pool of course. Plus, whenever I come down here, I rent a road bike and take a nice bike ride along AIA usually up through Palm Beach to the Singer Island Inlet.

You should go into the bathroom and post.

Now that would be impressive...posting from the throne at 30,000 feet!

You typed all of that with an iTouch? You're my hero! I'll use it for short emails/messages, but it's too little to comfortably type much more than that, IMHO. At least, for me. But you scored free wi-fi? So, seasoned travelers, what's the difference? When do you get free and when do you have to pay? I know that in the airport in Minneapolis and Denver 2 years ago, I was able to use free wi-fi, but I'm seeing places like Miami charge for their wi-fi. :-? Or maybe that was 2 years ago, and now they all try to capitalize on it now?

Denver does not have free WiFi.
