Typical Mid-week day at Ragged - no crowds ski on to the chair. The snow was very firm but not icy. Groomed flat and predictable. A good day for high speed cruising.

Not a lot open - basically 4 trails from the top - 2 off of the six pack ( blueberry or head wall to lower ridge and newfound ridge to town meeting) and 2 off quad (show off and cardigan). They were making bunch of snow on Exhibition. Maybe planning to get it open for the weekend. Sorry bump fans nothing for you yet.

Wonder why Flying Yankee was closed? As far as bumps - most of those trails do not have snow making if not mistaken!

Sorry, I was rushing when I wrote the TR. The snocats were out in Flying Yankee that day, imagine they'll have it ready for the weekend. Good thing too. I skied it on New Year's Day and it was kind of thin.

Agreed on the bumps at Ragged
-- they're only going to be there if Mother Nature puts them there.
