Recommendation for Stan and Dan's

So after the Richelson's thread I recently began I decided that I did need a full retail store to try various boot brands. I spent a couple of hours at Stan & Dan's in North Comway 2 weeks ago and received excellent service. After trying on a bunch of boots we decided the Salomon X3-100 was the best for me. I could only try on the women's version because he was out of stock. They called me 10 days later and I just walked out after a 90 minute session.

I'm very happy with the fit of the boots and the service. During both visits Dan was in frequent customer demand but he stuck with me. He dropped me down a full boot size. I've been swimming in my old boots for like 5 years. Because the boots are smaller the DIN on my bindings went up. I didn't know that could happen. Can't wait to try these tomorrow.

Thanks for the write-up. I'll be in the market for boots next season and we have a place up in Intervale. I was wondering which of the shops have boot fitters who others have had good experiences with.

Another vote for Stan & Dan's. Tink at Frosty's is pretty good with boot fitting as well.
