Week-long party jam-packed with live performances by Bruce Jacques, DJ BrekOne, OnCue, Dean's List, and Lazerdisk Party Sex
Newry, Maine (December 12, 2011)-Ski by day. Party by night. Thank Red Bull for the added "wings." Sunday River and Red Bull partner this year to remind college students where the fun is when school is out of session with the resort's annual College Week scheduled for January 2-6, 2012 .
New this year, the College Week lineup is bigger and better, featuring completely new live entertainment including Bruce Jacques , DJ BrekOne , OnCue , Dean's List , and Lazerdisk Party Sex .
By day, college students can save money with $39 lift tickets , "One Night Stand" lodging for $89 per night , or commit to the entire week with $309 ski and stay packages that include lift tickets, lodging, and adult ski/snowboard clinics .
Home to 132 trails spread across eight interconnected mountain peaks, Sunday River boasts New England's most powerful snowmaking system and best ski and snowboard terrain. Day-time adventures include winter Zipline Tours, dog sledding adventures, and on Wednesday, January 5, Red Bull is hosting an on-mountain scavenger hunt.
By night, Sunday River offers live entertainment and parties planned for Monday through Thursday starting with an '80s Comedic Dance Party featuring Bruce Jacques on Monday, January 2.
Tuesday night, Halloween night makes a late appearance with a costume party duly described as a "Zombie Rager" with live entertainment by DJ BrekOne. Fireworks are also part of the evening set list and will take place outside of the Foggy Goggle at 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday evening, OnCue and Boston-based Dean's List take the stage, followed by Lazerdisk Party Sex on Thursday night for the resort's college party favorite-a black light party.
All entertainment takes place in the resort's Foggy Goggle, voted 2011 Best of Bethel best apres scene. Tickets for each show listed are $10. Events will begin between 9:30 p.m and 10 p.m. with doors opening at 9 p.m. Tickets on sale now and can be purchased by calling 800-543-2754
