Relief From The Heat

A backdoor cold front came through here on Long Island last night and it's only 67F right now, with very low humidity, ahhhh. I am forecast to stay in the 60's

How are the rest of you fairing today?, I've heard that it is only cooler on LI and the coast of Connecticut.

It was nice and cool in the Catskills last night.. A little humid this AM...

Yes, some things don't change. People here in Boston were bit^&ing the other day because it was too hot, now they are all bit%^ing because it is too cold. :roll: So glad I'm getting out of here soon.

I personally like cooler temps!

Up here in the Boston area it's in the low 50s. That's what I call relief.

The change yesterday was pretty significant...I went to work in the AM in shorts and it was a bit chilly going out to the car at the end of the day.

Now if we could get rid of the clouds and rain then I'd be happier still...

Been 95 here in Philly. Gonna be hot agqain today, then drop down tomorrow.

i was so happy when the temp dropped, everyone was complaining though, hey today just throw on pants and a sweatshirt and your okay... when it is too hot you cant do anything, besides sit in a cold room and look at a computer :lol:
think im going for a bike ride 2day

Thank goodness it is just a cold front that passed through. I thought I passed out and woke up in October. Wouldn't be the first time ;-)

Drove home after class last night with the top down, wearing a wife-beater and was still warm.

Its 63F right now.

Its not the actual temp that bothers me, its the change...

45 degrees here in Leicester. I changed my background back to winter LOL. I can't believe it. 2 days ago, we were 25 degrees above average and now we're almost 25 degrees below average. I'll have to keep an eye out for some flakes tonight. :wink:

I like this type of weather. Very nice sleeping weather where you barely need a sheet. It seems like the last couple years, we barely have a springtime. It goes 40-50's directly to 80-90's and no long period of 60-70's. Maybe it will mean a longer autumn! Best hiking time of the year!

I just came inside from laying down mulch in my garden, and I was wearing long pants and a jacket

This is quite a difference from yesterday when I was sweating quite a bit while working in my yard.

Right now it is 60F and it feels really nice.

unreal weather here in wantagh...90 on tuesday...hot as all hell in my house with no AC due to construction...then get up wednesday to 63 outside...WTF???? LOL
