Beleive it or not...I'm a "Godfather" to our wonderful little nephew who was born back in June. The baptism was yesterday.

"WTF does that have to do with farting?"

I'm getting to that!

My wife cooked up a bunch of stuff for the party after mass. I'm usually not a big fan of baked beans, but man she made some good ones. I had two helpings.

 Nice animation! I don't eat baked beans myself, luckily for all those around me.

Cabbage farts and Asparagus pee, ahhhhhh, that's the life on the throne!

Interesting thing about Asparagus pee:

Studies conducted on the "asparagus urine smell" phenomenon indicate that roughly 40 to 50 percent of those tested developed the distinctive odor. Surprisingly enough, there is also a segment of the population who cannot smell the sulphurous fumes of asparagus-laced urine. It is believed that both the generation of the odoriferous urine and the ability to smell it are based on genetics. Only those with a certain gene can break down the chemicals inside the asparagus into their smelly components, and only those with the proper gene can smell the results of that chemical breakdown.

Who knew!!

excellent topic. Garlic usually yields good GI effects for me. If it's really fresh & potent and I eat enough the emissions will literally smell more of garlic than regular fart. Always a treat for other folks in the car.

Wife made a vegetable gratin last night and it was fantastic. However I believe with some sophistimicated plumbing I could have powered an LPG generator all last night and today, maybe for 2 or 3 megawatts total. I may have also been in violation of the Geneva Convention's ban on certain chemical warfare agents as it was more toxic than phosgene.

I had meatball grinders last night (homemade). No veggies at all...so I'm not sure where the loudness came from this morning.

Have you ever been around a Vegan?
With the content of Beans and Soy in general, the farts from a vegan can clear the room. Not a good thing!

I had some good gas this morning, and I'm not even sure what it was from. It was as if I'd eaten chili recently, but I haven't.

DEADLY COMBO!! Especially the Asaparagus pee :puke:

Just waiting for the mega meat slabs stuffed with sauteed onions, goat cheese and prosciutto that the cook in my Patriots tailgating group dubbed "smoked, stuffed burgers" to make it down the the tail end of the GI tract. Might get a little interesting this AM  ;)

I like broccoli farts myself.

One great thing about having kids is they find farts to be a lot more funny than my wife.
