It is early february and I just waxed my skiis. I have given up all hope and used CH-10.

For those of you who don't know, CH-10 is an extremely high snow temperature (if not the highest) general pupose iron on wax. This is the same stuff I use in april.

I'm hoping the next post in this thread is, "We've come a long way since January"...and the thread will continue discussing the 3rd major dumpage in the week and everything is shut down xcept (miraculously)...Ski Resorts....and the requisite transportation thereto.

And they all lived happily ever after.

Good night children. *smirk*

Drew ... next time your back on the Island, can you give me a quick tune lesson? I'm just too scared to practice at it without a trained eye watching me. Back on topic .... I think old man winter will be making a comeback quite soon.

I think it's even more sad that the 9 times I've skiied since January 1, 5 of those days the temp was 50+, 2 closer to 60. Then temp never reached 50 in the ENTIRE month of December here, only reached 40 6 times. It rained twice that entire month, the rest was snow. Even in late November the temp was struggling to reach 40. This better turn around.

Yeah, i can teach you rich. Wont be down there for a while though (mid april is the soonest definate) but I can do it then.

On topic, even sadder is that the CH-10 worked great for the conditions. I hope your right sky, i got an entire brick of cold temp LF wax to use.

Sorry to hear that your stay at Killington was not the best. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has not treated us well this season so far. Please do come back in visit Killington again in the future and I hope next time you get to experience it like I experienced it on October 28-30, 2005 when they got 3 feet of natural snow. Check out the gallery for pictures of October 29 - I believe they were posted by ga2ski.
