RANGELEY, ME -- Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley, ME cranked up its snow guns on Monday, March 26, to take advantage of the return of winter temperatures and to add to the snow base on existing trails. Three lifts are operating with 17 trails open for all ability levels.

"Making snow even this late in the season is all part of our commitment to providing better snow conditions to our skiers and riders", said Jim Quimby, Operations Manager.

Saddleback is one of the few ski areas in the East still open after the recent summer-like temperatures. To encourage skiers to continue skiing, the mountain is offering a $29 lift ticket to 2011-2012 season pass holders from any other mountain. Sunday, April 1st is Maine Day at Saddleback. Residents also ski and ride for $29.
