according to the trail report, they are now blowing vertigo which is the designated seeded bump trail. shouldn't be long now.

if it is setup this weekend, any chance i could request a pic of it???

kinda curious to see how this plays out. As has been discussed in other threads, vertigo usually had the best lines on the mtn already.

will do. vertigo had great snow last week (nat), although before the skiers knocked most of it down, was very weedy. got taken down by the weeds once. :)

I'll check it out this weekend. I doubt it will happen. As you said, it gets naturally bumped up anyway. Why would they bother?

I'd also think that if they were going to seed it, and if they're presumably shutting the guns down on it today, that they'd want to let the snow drain a bit before they subject it to the heavy amount of cat work it would take to seed it, or else you'd likely end up with Vertigo covered with hundreds of mini ice bergs and no real potential decent storms for the next week plus to put some soft stuff over those ice bergs.

Yeah, I really don't think they touched it over the summer. Brush coming out the tops of bumps.

If you consult the trail map online, Vertigo is now marked with a terrain park symbol. Does that mean kickers?

re: Vertigo

1) I forgot my camera battery so no pics (DOH!)

2) The terrain park symbol is prolly being used to denote the seeded bumps

3) They're prolly getting ready to create them this week because they were blowing the hell out of it this weekend,.

4) To that end, the rumor is they're gonna build the course on Conclusion this week. So I would think they might just build both in the same week

re: 3 and 4 - don';t shoot the messenger, these are guesses
