Read those rules and don't see how a picture of anyone in a signature breaks them in anyway. Care to elaborate?

What we aren't going to do is allow hundred-thread discussions on prior moderation decisions. The GSS pic threads are clearly designed to entice that back and forth again. Therefore, no more please. The GSS decision is done and buried in history. If you have more questions, please feel free to PM me and I'd be more than happy to talk with you more about it!

Well the public dissent part isn't correct. Of course dissent is allowed, and feedback on forum rules is also appreciated. Not in this thread, though - that goes in the Site Feedback section. The point is that some decisions are final. But input is always valued.

FWIW some back and forth banter is fine and cool. But if things get out of control, I will lock threads in the future. Particularly if the personal attacks come out like before, that's not cool. A jab here or there, no big deal, but it got a lot more personal than that before.

keep your eyes open, gonna try to get to it tonight but I want to post a rehash of the rules and explanations for the changes in non-specific terms. But rather what the goals are, then we'll open that up for discussion.
