Skied to the bell at Wildcat today, stayed snow all day, got colder the last hour, if they get a good dump this week it will be skiing on most natural snow trails. Some poaching today rock ski's required. they were setting up to blow more snow on upper lynx. not really needed but won't hurt come April. They are doing a great job. 4 stars

Just left Mishka's ski factory after an education on sharpening and tuning. Going to try the GF's new skis out tomorrow at Wachusett since we have free passes. Just getting the legs ready for Wednesday!

All snow at the 'Loaf. Soft and fun. Should be another great day Sunday. No need for the ice carvers.

I stayed there once but was legit sick. I spent the whole time in bed with a fever. My domestic dictator really enjoyed it though.

Bretton Woods is the Deer Valley of the east. IMO one of the classiest resorts going. From location, (It gets snow) to nice facilities (the health club has a beautiful pool) its just beautiful. One of our most successful multi-family ski vacations took place there back in the early 2000's. BG said he was surprised to see glades open there, I am not. The mountain is full of fun cruising cord, small pockets of moguls and tree shots usually on some pretty good snow. Great place for romance.

Conditions at BW aren't too bad today. A little slick here and there but not bad at all.

Ungroomed is "crisp". Image wet snow after is freezes and dries out. Cohesive at first but crumbles apart as soon as you hit it.

I stuck to the groomers for that very reason. Got a little monotonous, but it was great to be out. Crowds were light, which helped. V

Groomed stuff skied perfect IMO. Nice and fast without being icy. Traveled off the groomed here and there and while crunchy it was still a ton of fun. Another foot of snow and I'd imagine they'd be close to 100% open. Bonus points for having Founders All Day IPA on draught

Yeah, the groomers were awesome. I didn't realize how damn cold it was until I left (6 degrees at the base, 3 degrees at the summit). The cold explains a lot about the crunch.

They have some really impressive base snow in play. Even if it is sloppy, this week's storm could really fill things in. Throw in a few inches of powder from the wrap-around and you'll be looking at absolutely amazing conditions.
