Ski Ballet

I ski with a guy at Shawnee Peak who started the freestyle team at Pleasant Mt in the 70's. He coached Greg and Jeff Stump on his team for a few years. His name is Bruce Cole and he is an incredible skier. He does some ballet moves sometimes just for practice.I have never seen a smoother skier anywhere. I really enjoy skiing with him and learning from him..

this doesn't surprise me. I haven't skied with the man, but seen him from the lift plenty and he is silky smooth, floats down the mountain almost. that he can bust ballet moves doesn't surprise me

Wait.....are you talking about snowplow guy? He's awesome...that guy masters the dance of the ski with flawless acumen. I miss him. I'm going to introduce myself to him next season and invite him to the forum!

No this guy is a decent skier IIRC, and he's there ALL the time.

If I am not mistaking the poles were longer and reinforced right? I recall skiers basically doing a handstand above their poles and spinning. Should be something on Youtube.....
