Resort: Ski Butternut 10am to 12:30pm
Conditions: spring like snow, a few icy patches, temp around 40, sun and clouds
Trip Report:
I wanted to do some skiing before I start preparing for tonight’s party. I do like the fact that in an hour and 5 minutes I am at Butternut. After Wednesday night at Sundown, I wanted to practice my mogul skiing. So for two hours I took the triple and skied Downspout. These bumps softened up as the sun hit them, and hardened back up when the clouds came in. They were well spaced apart and the line I took was the left side. (right side when looking at the picture) It was great to practice over here as there were only a handful of people skiing the trail.
I only did two runs from the summit quad. Crowds were not bad at all. I never waited for a line at the triple. Here is a picture I took today.
