What ski films have you seen and are worth buying? I have all three of the Meathead films, and just bought Warren Miller's Journey. What else is good?

Anything by TGR. I like some of their older ones better, less rap music. Harvest is great as well as The Realm. I have pretty much all of Millers movies. Always some good stuff in there.

Its more of a ski movie vs a ski film, the movie "Alpine Extreme" is what made me become an instructor. So far I'm yet to move to co., live in a van, find the hot local chick nor the rich sugar mommy.

And I still can't seem to find a coke head friend who is good at skiing and willing to be forced to run naked down the streets.

I still like my job though. Don't understand anything i said. See the flick...thats the whole point of the thread.

TGR's Further from 2000. Simply incredible. Even has my favorite snowboarder J. Jones ripping some sick AK lines to Ozzys Over the Mountain. By far the best ski/board segment Ive ever seen.

Immersion from Matchstick Productions is phenomenal. Very soulful for a ski movie, especially for a recent one from MSP. Highly recommended. MSP has some well produced stuff. I do not really care for a lot of the new school and extreme elements, but they do it better than TGR and WME.

I know someone who told me he was inspired to start skiing after seeing the movie "The Young Lions" in the early 60's. There's about 20 seconds (literally) of skiing in the very beginning, and that's it. I guess it doesn't take much.

Yeah, Ski Movie 3 is probably one of my favorites too. I was actually watching that this morning. I think Yearbook is pretty good too. Ingrid Backstrom rips it up.

some of my favorites are from MSP, especially global storming and high society, always blown away by seth boy's segments, brad holmes rapping is priceless too. I like TGR mind the addiction too, but I haven't seen any of the new movies in the past 3 years other than meatheads schooled, might have to get back up in it.

I love the old ones they have on RSN sometimes; the ones that were clearly made in the 40s or earlier. These guys are amazing with that old equipment! Sometimes they're pretty funny, too.

I finally bought "Hot Dog: The Movie"

It's the only ski movie I'm allowed to show at the firehouse.

I cant believe nobody has mentioned Greg Stump's movies. "Licence to Thrill" and "Blizzard of Ahhs" are some of the best ski flix out there IMO.
I downloaded the http://www.im.com/ media player and it came with ALL of the TGR films except for last years movie.
