I'm tempted to try skiing Mittersil, but I don't think I have the balls to do it. I'm sure somebody on this forum has done it before. How was it? What happens if you get caught? Would they revoke your lift ticket?

I have done Sunrise Hill in N. Attleboro Ma and a half assed attempt on Diamond Hill in Cumerbland RI. I've got plans on a few of them if we get some decent snowfall and I'm not at a lift serviced mountain.

I've skied the following NELSAPs - my parents took my family skiing when we were in high school, but we mostly went to the smaller places, a lot of which ended up on the list:

Mt Tom - middle school ski club went there EVERY week, I must have skied a thousand miles at that place - one more storm and I'm going to head up for a little BC
Oh Ho Ho - Upside down ski place
Hogback
Haystack
Round Top - I see that's back open as Bear Creek? The high school ski club went here a LOT - I think we used to get a bus ride AND lift ticket for $20 or something (maybe less?). Even then it was a low-rent situation, high ice content
Brodie (found another)

I thought there would be more... oh well.

ah, right. just can't remember the d- street names. amazing that doesn't get poached more with the kinda traffic out there. I "earned" turns in the Arboretum this weekend, and there were many a snowboarder and skinnysticker there too.

Attempting a Pine Top poach this weekend if possible. Will post T/R.

As long as there's enough snow you should be good to go! I'm pretty sure most of Pine Top is on public land and one of the old slopes was recently cleared.

I have skied a few over the years. Good times. Aside from some of the larger lost areas, your typical lost area doesn't have much for terrain but there are occasionally some gems to be found.
