Look on the bright side, you're about an hour and a half shorter plane ride to out west.

what's up with the move? job related?

Honestly, if I were you, I'd be more concerned about making it through the summer. I lived in Southeast Ohio for a year and it was ten times as humid as it gets in New England. Sucked and I imagine Kentucky would be worse still.

Well... i was there in 81 to 83...

Is the Junction there? The CI?

I'd imagine, at least there were in 01-02 when I lived out there. I don't miss Ohio by any means, but Athens is a fun place to party

I was in Louisville a few years back and spent a free afternoon driving around the hill-country of south Indiana. I was surprised when I came upon a small ski area, whose name I can't for the life of me remember, near French Lick, Indiana. The town name I remember because...well, because of the town name and because it's the hometown of Larry Bird.

The ski area looked to be 400-500' vertical.

I'm moving to Lexington, Kentucky in Mid October.

You folks are almost assured to have an epic season now.

You're welcome! ;)

Hopefully you are making alot of money so you can at least take lots of steezy ski trips..maybe the chicks in Kentucky will be into your Mass A two Shitz accent..there are direct flights from Cincinatti Ohio to Jackson Hole..

"Perfect North Slopes"???

Great name!!

Seriously, someone needs to hire them a marketer, or, at least, a 6th-grader to come up with a better name.

That being said, it doesn't look too bad (for the region).

You beat me to it...Paoli Peaks. Never went. Lived in Louisville area for five years.

Hot and humid summers and short (but rahter cold) winters.

Dozer....you will be missed. Expect a call Thursday nights from the gang with the race results!

What I remember about winters was a lot of slush, if it snowed ,it soon after rained.
