Skiing in NY

Song was sold a few years back and the new owners are putting nothing back into the hill, and it shows. .

Just using my own observations is all-----years back Song had mucho going for it---decent snow making---really pushed to get open early trying to beat Greek----freaky friday's ruled.

Now, IMHO, the place is just somewhere to go and ski with no real character.

They blew a ton of snow on the steeper terrain and skied quite well Thurs. Installed new snowmaking on new terrain park area

and that really has alot of significance

Uhm, every place is skiing well this year, no???

Signifigance, not really unless your a pass holder watching Greek and Lab skiers for the first 2 weeks of the season.

Cool they brought freaky fridays back---when did they start up again???

You pretty much nailed it!!!!! I've skied there forever and never heard anyone it skis bigger than 900 vert, ever!!!! We "locals" have been bitchin' about Greek's direction for years---there more concerned with that stupid water park and convention center than they are of the skiing. Anyway, to have that place 2min from my house is pretty cool, and it's been a great year.

No mention of the 2 gladed trails in your report---you hit them??? One of them is actually kinda fun.
