Comically bad day on the hill. Rained all day. I was up in Stowe visiting friends who had to work all day. I could have just as easily gone to the bar and drowned my sorrows of the sad state of skiing in New England after the past week.....or.....I could ski. I opted to drown on the mountain instead of at the bar. Skiing Saint of Circumstance for those who catch my drift.
I gave it a go for 3 hours and tested the waterproof limits of my gear. I basically just got pelted by rain and lapped Madonna and Sterling a few times and made one trek down to Morse and back because it had been years since I'd skied down to the village at Smuggs.
This picture below pretty much summed up the skiing there. WARNING.....picture may cause nausea.
