Yes, being from MA, I didn't have the luxury of experiencing that first snowfall...only saw it on a bunch of webcams!

I'm in Boston, and I made it to Wildcat. Clearly, you lack the dedication required.

As the extremely corny "motivational" tapes they played in the fieldhouse during workouts in highschool, "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Are YOU the weakest link?" Generally followed by "Hit! Hustle! Win!" and "Three D's I cannot give you: Desire, Discipline, and Determination."

I hated football in high school.

I think the first snow for the north country will be October 23rd and October 29th for southern NE. First accumulation in Boston is also October 29th, with a record breaking snowfall for October.

I don't know, though, I'm not that great of a reverse-forecaster.

I agree with you. i bet I will ski on Friday October 29th at Wildcat on their opening day and at Killington's opening day on Saturday the 30th. And both days will be amazing.

Well as much as I would have liked to head north and ski, I was attending the Fall-refresher for Ski Patrol. Guess my dedication currently lies elsewhere.
