Nice you are the powder king that for sure. I'm glad you got the lake effect snow. Snowy Ridge should give you shuttle service for the promotions.

Just a couple pics, I think my phone needs a new battery. It's not charging through the USB port in my car. My old phone was charging, I wish I'd thought to charge it on the way up, and use it as a camera.

Not that deep, little kid. I told him to wave, is he flipping me off?

Snow Ridge gets the goods. Anything bump up on it?

Not really, soft bumps maybe, very soft, I don't think there's enough time between dumps for bumps, I can live with that.

Looks awesome. I'm very jealous of you. I wish it wasn't a 5 hour drive from me. He's giving you a thumbs up!

Thanks Snowlover, Snow Ridge isn't exactly in my back yard either, 150 miles one way, but the cheap tickets, $15 with my discount for having a Greek Peak season's pass, make up for the cost of gas, and it's such a fun little hill. Another good thing, since the lake effect snow is very localized, 4/5 of my drive is on clear roads, the last 1/5 can be a little hairy. There is even some true expert terrain to be found in the ravines off the map. The snow is on par with the dry powder out West too, and they don't call it Snow Ridge for nothin! The vibe is great there too, lots of friendly locals, they all seem to know each other, they probably do, SR is the quintessential anti-resort resort.

Yeah, I know he did give me thumbs up, just looked like the bird when I looked at the pic. I wish the battery on my phone didn't die, I would've loved to have gotten footage of the teenage boarders trying to ride the t-bar. They would fall off halfway up, then hang on and be dragged the rest of the way. Looked very tiring to me. I don't know why they wouldn't just wait and try to get "on" an empty one coming along, or just board back to the base. They kept me entertained on the ride up, every time one would fall, I'd say in my best Howard Cosell voice, "Down goes Frazier", yep, I am old.

Cornhead drove 6 hours (?) to SugarBush to ski one melted groomer in the spring with me last season so 150 miles for powder is nothing to him =)

Hail the powder king!
