very nice reading for tonight. too bad it is all upper elevation. 5300 is still around the freezing point so it's a MW snow fall only. but nice to see the first two turns on natural snow for the season have been made in the east. here's to something more substantial for the rest of us!

pfffffffffffffft... i don't ski atomics, what smack are you on? no way i'm calling in sick tomorrow to hike up 4k to find any snow fallen has been blown clear off the mountain or is sticking to rocks and other non-skiable surfaces. looks like that pic is a wind drift under a building, two or three turns at best to be had on the rock pile tonight. still, that guy is the happiest skier in new england tonight!

thats exactly what it is, the drift right inside the sherman adams building, i can attest with 110 mph winds there will be nothing left between that door and the "precip can" 20 yards away, still props to the top of new england
