Arrived at the Iron Blossom in Snowbird 2 hours late, 2:00 am Saturday morning.

Saturday morning for the first two hours was bluebird day and than the clouds rolled in, it than started to snow and did not stop till Sunday night.

Second day we started with 6"-8" of Utah's finest and it snowed all day. We found plenty of powder stashes including a short 10 minute hike off the Gad2 lift that kept our powder appetite very satisfied. The stash had not been skied for a few days so we had 30" of fresh.

The forecast for Monday was 100% chance of no precipitation. The weatherman got a big fat "F" for that forecast; it started to snow around noon on Monday. It would snow for 30 minute and than sun for 30 minutes we got the best of both worlds.

The baldy chutes had not opened all season and we got lucky on being at the access gate 10 minutes before opening. It was I and approximately 12 other people doing the 20 minute hike. We did this hike 4 times on Monday I was cooked at the end of the day.

It was not an epic Utah trip but it was sure fun to be back to a place I once worked at, not sure why I left. After 5 days of skiing in Snowbird I was exhausted. I than got home at 2 in the morning Thursday and than jump in car and drove 5 hours to Hunter and skied 3 more days in epic Hunter conditions. Skiing eight out of nine days I think I might need a vacation from my vacation; I'm pooped..............
