Is the system loud? I'd imagine it sounds something like a power washer, right? As kinda neat as it is to make your own snow, I would be annoyed by that at 7 am on a Sunday morning too...

Post pics and details! I have a compressor...I've been kicking around doing this myself. The only thing is, my compressor isn't rated for continuous duty. I wish I had bigger compressor...220v vertical would fit the bill....

Just tell your neighbor that you'll post some "special" pictures of his wife all over the web if he doesn't chill out ;) ;)

Make sure it's oil-lubricated (not oil-less), 6cfm at 90psi or greater will make things much easier as well.

I make snow all the time in my back yard! Even though I live in pretty close quarters with the neighbors I've been able to cut the noise level down to acceptable levels and frequently run my 2 snowguns overnight. Knock on wood, I have yet to receive a complaint. Regardless, they all think I'm a little nutty!

I want some pictures of your operation, and your neighbor telling you to turn it off

No pictures of my neighbors shutting me down, but here's a picture or two from last years operations.

You've been telling me about your snowmaking set-up for years...now, I finally see the proof. Not that I didn't believe you Johnny...

Any chance that we can build a kicker this year and session it some afternoon when our on hill "commitments" aren't so busy?? I'll bring the beer.

Rueler, yourself and Haywood are more than welcome to visit anytime and build anything you want in my backyard but beer alone isn't going to cut the mustard, B-jager is most definitely required in the price of admission to my fun park.

6.8 @ 90 psi
8.6 @ 40 psi

It's an oil unit as well. I think it's rated to run 30 minutes out of 60?

Nice pics Woodcore! Looks like a solid operation. When are you planning on firing up the system this year?
