I love summer. It's an amazing season. There is so much fun to be had in summer. Baseball games, late nights outside on the deck, the grill, the pool, island beach state park, long walks and hikes, the fourth of july in philly, not being in school, fireflies (yes they are still cool), wet damp humid mornings where you can smell the earth, early exit fridays.
It's a great f'ing season.
It's the crappy end of winter cold ass spring that sucks. I hate spring. If it went from powder to 90 I would be happy has hell.

wait it does that- In Salt Lake City.

I spend my entire summer up north at my vacation house biking, wakeboarding, kyaking, boating, tubing, swimming, hiking, trampolineing, roasting smores with friends, airsoft, indoboarding, jumping off bridges, and photographing all of this! AND waiting for 5 days at bike camp!

Summer? Oh yeah, the useless hot part of the year.

I'll be thinking about the 07-08 ski season.

Before I found skiing, winter was the useless cold part of the year...

Like most other folks.

I was joking...summer is OK.

Fishing, hiking, camping.

But also mowing, landscaping, painting, etc.; don't care much for that stuff.

well, I have a metric century I will be doing in June then probably a few more centuries after that so I will be on the bike a lot.

Besides that, I am new to new england so will be exploring the whites a lot on the weekends hiking and fly fishing. should be nice and relaxing!

oh yeah, and one of those metric centuries is a charity ride to raise $$ for the roswell park cancer research center in Buffalo NY (http://register.roswellpark.org/goto/Akers )
